Canadian Deaf Games 2018 - Winnipeg - Jeux des Sourds du Canada 2018

The 2018 Canada Deaf Games (CDG) will be held from February 21st to February 24th, 2018 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. They include competitions in the following six sports: Men’s Basketball, Curling, Ice Hockey, Volleyball, Snowboarding and Bowling.

Results

Team Jamieson (Alberta) won the Women’s Curling tournament and qualified to represent Canada at the 2019 Winter Deaflympics.
Team Chan (BC) won the Men’s Curling tournament at the Canada Deaf Games and qualified to represent Canada at the 2019 Winter Deaflympics.

 

Gold medalist in ice hockey: Team Kyte (red) and silver medalist: Team BC #2 (white).
Both men and women participated in the various Bowling events.
