The CDSA Sport Awards
The CDSA Sport Awards are given at every Deaflympic cycle (summer or winter) every two years to athletes and national teams, who made an important contribution to Deaf sports in Canada.

The CDSA’s Hall of Fame
The Canadian Deaf Sports Association’s Hall of Fame was established in 2017 to recognize and honour athletes, teams and founders who achieved outstanding success and contributed to the advancement of deaf sports. The nomination and announcement process takes between two to three years.

Notable Athletes
In its 2017-2022 Strategic Plan, the CDSA developed an important strategic direction: Contribute to promoting Deaf and hard of hearing sports in Canada. Contribute to creating a sense of belonging and recognition among Deaf and hard of hearing athletes, former athletes and CDSA through various social media outlets and communications tools used by the CDSA.
We are proud to introduce notable athletes for each Canadian province and the performances they realized during international sport events sanctioned by the International Committee of Sports for the Deaf (ICSD).
